Letter of Appreciation from "Greg T.":

My name is Greg T., a recent customer of your dealership. I wanted to take the time to inform you of my purchasing experience and recognize two individuals of whom I dealt with. The individuals were Dewayne and Joe. I apologize but I do not recall their last name.

I purchased a used 2008 Toyota Tundra over the weekend (July 28). I located the truck online and called your dealership and was connected to Joe. Joe was very friendly and professional. I asked a lot of questions and asked Joe to take additional photos of the truck to include photos of the underside of the truck. He did not hesitate and promptly send me the pictures. We spoke several different times on the phone and discussed the truck in great detail. I also spoke with Dewayne regarding the carfax and he went over it with me in detail. Again, he too was very friendly and professional.

I explained to Joe my situation and my financial limits and he stated he would get with Dewayne and call me back. A short while later he returned the call and advised me of where they were on price. I also spoke with Dewayne about the price and he indicated that he figured he had one shot with me regarding my situation so he gave me the absolute best he could do. I advised them I would think it over and see what I could do. By this time it was mid afternoon on Saturday.

After pondering my option (by the way I was also talking to another dealership about another truck just like this one) my wife and I decided to buy this truck. I called Joe back and stated that I wanted the truck. I asked Joe if they were open tomorrow (Sunday), and he stated they were not. This was not good for me. You see I was calling from Northeast Alabama, approximately 525 miles away. This weekend was the only opportunity I had to get this truck for the next 4 weeks. I have to leave for Ft. Leonard Wood, MO next weekend for 3 weeks of training. After explaining this to Joe and Dewayne, they agreed to meet me at the dealership at 9am Sunday morning so I could get the truck.

My wife and I left our home around 6:30 pm CST and drove until 1:00 am, got 3 hrs sleep in a hotel, got up and drove the rest of the way there and arrived shortly after 9:00 EST. When we arrived Joe and Dewayne were waiting on us. My wife and I drove the truck and were very pleased. It was just as Joe described and there were no surprises. The truck was very clean and presented well. We sat down and signed the necessary paperwork, I handed Dewayne the money, he checked and counted each $100.00 bill I handed him. Both Joe and Dewayne were just as friendly and professional as they were over the phone. My wife got in to her car and I got in to my new truck and we headed back to Alabama.

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the service and professionalism I received from Joe and Dewayne. You don't see much of that anymore unfortunately. They both went above and beyond my expectations especially by unselfishly taking time out of their day off to meet me on Sunday morning. As an HR professional and a customer, I say that you have two fine employees and I just wanted you to know that. My experience with your dealership was perfect satisfaction. Although you are 525 miles away, should I be in need of another vehicle in the future, I will certainly make the phone call.

I apologize for such a lengthy email but I felt compelled to let you know of my experience and commend you on your selection of employees. Whatever you are doing there, please continue to do so, it is working. Again it was a pleasure doing business and it was worth the drive.
